Daily Harvest Smoothie Review

I meant to post this review a VERY long time ago. I tried out Daily Harvest a year or so ago and absolutely loved it. Now that I have a little one (13 months old already!!?) these can come in handy on the go and/or while trying to wrangle a newly walking babe. Did I mention she loves drinking smoothies too?

I enjoy creating and blending my own smoothies, but I thought it was important to understand how Daily Harvest worked as some of my nutrition clients are not big into prepping food or as confident in the kitchen.

For those who do not know, Daily Harvest is a subscription – delivery service that makes smoothies, soups, overnight oats and even healthy desserts! I liked that they used fresh organic ingredients and that it is delivered cold to your door.

Their website states that their ingredients are always picked at “peak maturity, then flash frozen to maintain farm-fresh nutrient density and flavor, without using preservatives or added sugar”. Very cool.

The other great thing is that you can cancel at anytime or pause any delivery. You can decide if you want a weekly delivery or monthly and how many smoothies you want at each delivery. Did I mention the amazing smoothie options they have??

For my first “test run” I went for smoothies that I would not typically make at home. (Who has frozen papaya on the reg?)

Some of the cups I chose were: Mango & Papaya, Cold Brew & Almond, and what I am most excited for Pineapple & Matcha! You choose your base for the smoothie, but they do make suggestions for you if your not sure. I always use unsweetened almond milk, coconut water or just plain water.

I am currently undergoing a kitchen renovation, so these things can be a real lifesaver! Easy to recycle and less clean-up and prep. This is especially nice while not having a kitchen sink in use.
