Instead of buying salad dressing, try this minimal effort vinaigrette on your next salad. Toss over some greens and enjoy!
Ingredients:
- 2 cloves garlic
- 3-4 tbs. olive oil
- red pepper flakes
- salt & pepper
- 1 lemon
In a small bowl whisk all the above ingredients together. Use a lemon juicer to get all the juice of the lemon into the bowl. (Make sure to keep the seeds out!)
I like to use a garlic crusher. Sometimes when you slice it yourself it can be a bit too chunky in your salads. The crusher ensures all the flavors come out and whisk well into the liquid.
Pepper flakes optional if you like a little kick – otherwise just stick to salt and pepper to taste.
Whisk all ingredient together well and pour over large bowl of greens. I like this over arugula with diced tomato, red onion, and feta.
