National Green Juice Day

Happy National Green Juice Day Folks!

There is no better time than today to try out your first green juice. Whether you are using a juicer at home or going out to the store for a fresh or pre-made one, a green juice can be quite transformative.

The color can be intimidating and some people just can’t stomach them, but don’t fret! There are lots of different combination of green juices you can try. If you own a juicer and are new to the game of juicing, I have put together a few simple green juice recipes for you to test out.

You can also visit a local cafe or juicery that makes fresh juices and ask them to make you something for this special occasion. Feel free to mess around with the quantities listed below. 

Greens Mixture 1:

1 bunch of Kale

1/2 Lemon

1 Green Apple

1 Large Cucumber

3-4 Stalks Celery

1 cube of Ginger

Greens Mixture 2:

4-5 cups Spinach

3-4 stalks celery

1 Green Apple

1 bunch Romaine Lettuce

1/2 lime

Greens Mixture 3:

2 bunches of Kale

3-4 stalks celery

1 Cucumber

1 Pear

1 Lemon

1/2 cup Mint

If you like your juices on the sweeter side you can add another serving of fruit, just remember to watch your sugar intake.

Green juice can be drank any day of the year. The nutrients and antioxidants help ramp up your immune system, remove harmful toxins, and boosts your energy. By drinking green juice you are improving your overall health from the inside out.
