There is nothing better than having a good day.
Having a positive attitude is the first step to that good day, just like being in a negative mood can lead to bad day.
Do you ever notice that when you are feeling crappy you give yourself permission to do unhealthy things? For example, if I am in a bad mood I will have a more “screw it” mentality and eat a bucket of chocolate, or “screw it” I am watching TV on the couch instead of working out. This of course makes a bad mood turn into a bad day and you end up in a more negative space than you were before.
Now let’s flip this – you wake up in a positive happy mood. You are feeling good, so you go for a morning jog or make plans with a friend. The day is productive and you end it with a beautiful home cooked meal that is healthy for you and your loved ones. You go to bed satisfied with how your day went, and are more likely to wake up with that same refreshed ready to go attitude.
Wow, what a difference your negative or positive vibes can do to a day.
Isn’t it crazy to think that we have the power to (most of the time) dictate how our day will go based off of our own attitudes? The question is “How can I have a good day, everyday?”

#1 Feeling good about yourself
When I feel good about myself I feel so much better about the day ahead. Keep negative thoughts at bay and give yourself a compliment you sexy thang.
#2 – Write a to do list
This can be what you want to get done in regards to errands, what you want to accomplish at work, or even the workouts you want to complete. Checking something off of a to do list is so satisfying it will help you want to continue get more to do’s done.
#3- Be Thankful
If you are starting to feel those negative vibes coming on STOP and think of the top 3 things you are thankful for. Replace the negative with a positive and realize how lucky you are. A lot of those negative thoughts revolve around silly things that in the grand scheme of life do not matter.
